By default, working days are Monday through Friday. The calculator excludes Saturday and Sunday. You can optionally exclude US federal holidays (New Year's Day, MLK Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas).
Several Middle Eastern countries have Friday-Saturday weekends. Israel observes Friday afternoon to Saturday. Some industries (retail, hospitality) consider Saturday a working day. Adjust expectations based on your jurisdiction.
Half-day holidays (like Christmas Eve in some companies) are counted as full working days by default. The calculator doesn't model partial days — adjust your result manually if needed.
Not in this calculator. For company-specific holiday lists, calculate working days here then subtract your custom holiday count. We may add a custom-holiday upload feature in future versions.
